This pleasant parkland layout has seen many changes in recent years and is a most welcome addition to golf in the Highlands. The scenic Fryish Hill provides a backdrop to the course which overlooks the town, and affords stunning views of the Black Isle and the Cromarty Firth.

Alness is renowned for the splendid conditions of its greens and can be played all the year round. The judicious use of out of bounds means that, although the course is relatively short, it is by no means a pushover. No two holes are the same on this course!
