Athlone Golf Club is a suberb 18 hole parkland course, bounded on three sides by picturesque Lough Ree, situated in the centre of the Ireland, in the beautiful Hodson Bay area. The course is regarded as one of the most picturesque golf courses in Ireland and is remarkably wet weather tolerant, due to the underlying Esker, which makes it a delight to play all year round.

 The club is Fáilte Ireland accredited.
