The course is located at Brean leisure park in approximately 100 acres of lush green meadow land. Water features come into play on many of the holes providing formidable hazards to the flat landscape. The greens are regularly irrigated by a popup sprinkler system and since the fairways are cut from meadow land, they remain lush even in drought and are well drained. Hence the course is seldom closed.

Furthermore, with the course being on the coast, the fresh winds and breezes add to the challenge of the layout. Brean leisure park facilities include conference and banqueting rooms for up to 350 delegates. There is also a swimming pool complex with indoor and outdoor pools and four waterslides, a garden centre, a fun park with over 40 rides and attractions plus various shops and catering outlets.
