Consett Golf Club is an 18 hole mature parkland course measuring 6041 yards. It was designed by the legendary Harry Vardon in 1911.
It is set in 100 acres of beautiful rolling hills of the Derwent Valley on the county border between Durham and Northumberland. The course is characterised by its well groomed tree lined fairways and slick manicured plateau greens that offer an enjoyable but challenging experience for golfers of all ages and abilities. The majority of the fairways are sloped which makes every shot a tricky one as position of the tee is imperative to succeeding in producing a good card.
Consett Golf Club has a reputation second to none for its friendly atmosphere and excellent bar and catering facilities. The clubhouse has been recently refurbished and now boasts new locker room facilities for both male and female members, together with new leather chairs and walnut coloured tables in both the members and main lounge
Restrictions: No play Tue or Thu morning or all day Saturday. Please contact club in advance to book, all tee times are subject to availability.
