Greenore Golf Club is situated on the shores of Carlingford Lough on the Cooley Peninsula approximately 12 miles from both Dundalk and Newry. Founded in 1896 it has 18 challenging semi-links holes and is noted for its' excellent greens, which are rated as some of the best in the country. The newly constructed clubhouse offers superb facilities, where members and visitors alike can enjoy the magnificent panoramic scenery of the adjacent Lough and the Mourne and Cooley Mountains. The club hosts the annual Greenore Challenge and in recent times has produced winners of both the West of Ireland and Irish Close Championships.
