Heaton Moor Golf Club is a pleasant, gently undulating parkland course in a quiet urban setting, away from any road traffic noise, yet readily accessible.

The layout is not overly long at just under 6000 yards, but it is tight with tree lined fairways. The course is typically defined by the 15th hole - the drive is over the Peel Moat, which is an English Heritage site of historical significance, to the corner of a sharp dog-leg left.

The approach must then negotiate two well-placed strategic bunkers adjacent to the green. A par 4 seems the most likely outcome on the tee but many a good card has come to grief here.

Heaton Moor is long established at over 100 years old and The Club enjoys a well deserved reputation as a friendly place to play golf, with a warm clubhouse atmosphere.
