The course is located some 13 miles north of Aberdeen. In the centre of Kintore village take the B977 Hatton of Fintray Road and then run left over the railway line, and the Clubhouse can easily be seen after crossing the river.
Having been extended to eighteen holes in the early 1990’s, the course’s interest lies in the contrast between the ‘old and new nines’. The former lie on hilly open ground, with spectacular views over the Don Basin stretching away to the Bennachie hills to the north. Although seemingly short, these holes require careful club selection, accuracy and a certain amount of luck.
The remaining holes, set in mature woodland, are generally longer and more sheltered but the burns which traverse many of them have a habit of ruining a good card. Excellent drainage results in very few lost days throughout the year.
Restrictions: No play Tue 4-7pm, Wed 4-6pm & Fri 4-6pm. Offer is based on 1-4 golfers and all bookings are subject to availability at all other times. Please telephone in advance to make a booking.
