This magnificent 27 hole facility includes an 18 hole Championship course and also a further 9 holes, known as the Beechwood Nine. The enthusiast will find a scenically beautiful course in immaculate condition with a combination of trees, water and bunker hazards to test the most skillful of golfers - Eddie Hackett has made typically good use of the Beechwood site. The 27 hole complex affords great flexibility in that it is possible to combine the playing of the Beechwood Nine with 9 holes on the Championship Course.

In more recent years Jeff Howes has redeveloped the Blue Nine and subsequently the Red Nine, bringing his own style and design to the course, which has taken the course to another level.

Most recently, the golf Architect Martin Hawtree has remodelled three holes on the Blue Nine, bringing back a much missed PAR 5, the clever design and use of hazards will have the golfer thinking about their next shot.

The motto of the Malahide Club is "A light heart and a friendly spirit" and a feature of the club (originally founded in 1892 by Nathaniel Hone) has always been the special and welcoming atmosphere to be found there. This atmosphere is further enhanced by the fine views of Howth Head and the Wicklow Mountains from the absolutely superb clubhouse, which accommodate a full Bar and Restaurant facilities, where the days play can be relived in comfort and elegant surroundings.
