Barcel Montecastillo Golf Club is located in Jerez de la Frontera, next to the high speed circuit, just 10 minutes from the city centre and 50 minutes from Seville airport.
The Montecastillo Golf Club, property of the Barceló Montecastillo Resort, has 18 holes, par 72, and was designed by Jack Nicklaus. Its length is 6,456 metres off the white tees.
This golf course was the venue for the Volvo Masters for 5 consecutive years (from 1997 until 2001) and for the final of the Peugeot Tour (from 2001 until 2003).
The course is equally enjoyable to beginners and experienced golfers alike. The medal & championship tees provide a challenging test for those with low handicaps whilst the layout of each hole is designed to encourage accuracy and precision.
