Pirkkalas fairways are on hilly fields, woods and by the sea - the course is a challenge for all players. Excellent practice options include a partly covered range, putting and pitching greens, bunkers, shots game area and a 6 hol Par-3 course. Since it opened in 2007, Golf Pirkkala Golf Club has become one of the most popular golf clubs on Tampere area. The most famous and experienced golf architect in Finland, Mr. Kosti Kuronen was excited about the landscape and location of the area. He began to sketch the area both on paper and in his mind. The result is without a doubt one of his finest masterpieces in golf design. The course is beautifully sculpted from the scenery and the fairways have many interesting features and challenges. The course rewards club players; just remember to be patient and plan each stroke! The course and all its holes will give pleasure to players of all skill levels. The layout is compact: everything is close - the club house, range, and parking areas. Yet the holes are separated from each other by forests, ponds and natural variations in the landscape. As a golfer you can either take risks or play it safe, however you like it!
