There are not many places in the world like Powerscourt Golf Club, Only 30 minutes from Dublin airport, you feel like you have entered a different world. The two championship golf courses are situated among the truly magnificent Powerscourt Estate which is home to 1000 acres of what needs to be seen to be believed. Powerscourt is everything that symbolises Ireland’s natural beauty.
The East course was designed by the talented golfer and successful Walker cup captain Peter McEvoy who brilliantly follows the contours of this mature and historic landscape. It has hosted the 1998 Irish PGA which three time major winner Padraig Harrington won in a playoff. The east course also hosted the 2001 Irish Seniors Open. The course is surrounded by hedges, ancient oaks and beech trees and often the golf becomes second nature as the sheer beauty of the surroundings takes over. One of the hallmarks of the course is the contoured undulating greens.
It is no wonder that we received the best overall parkland venue award 2014. This award not only showcases our two magnificent courses but the overall venue for all kinds of events and functions. The clubhouse overlooks the 9th and 18th hole on the East and 18th on the West which really brings every aspect of the course into view. Unlike many other golf courses Powerscourt has full greens and tees all year round which we know all golfers love to hear. Playing the course the way our famous designers intended.
Restrictions: Offer available Sun-Wed, all tee times are subject to availability. Please telephone club to make a tee time booking.
