Wenvoe Castle Golf Club is one of the premier clubs in Wales. The 18 hole championship course held the inaugural Welsh Classic Professional Tournament which was won by former Ryder Cup captain, Mark James. The layout is based on two separate nines and is undulating parkland with many varied hazards, including a like on the 10th hole which is 280 yards out from the tee. The club was founded in 1936 and its' clubhouse is a Grade II listed building that dates as far back as 1776.
