The Boves Golf Club, in the Northen Italy, extends along the bed of the Gesso river that runs along the entire western side of the town of Boves, in Piedmont region. It is the result of a project by Canadian architect Graham Cooke, who designed an 18-hole course measuring 6018 metres for a PAR of 72 strokes, according to the clearly recognisable style of a great architect designer, respecting nature and all the natural characteristics of the area, which is distinguished by the gentle undulations of the terrain and the typical river vegetation.
Streams, ponds, bunkers fit harmoniously into the scenery of the Maritime Alps that form the backdrop to the course, from Monviso, to the west, to the Marguareis peak, to the east, and, above all, the 'Bisalta' mountain, which dominates the course with its imposing proximity.
