18 HOLES WITH CHARACTER
In the typical landscape of the Oldenburger Geest, the golf course of the Golfclub Oldenburger Land e.V. is located in a field and forest area on approx. 65 ha, which is demanding in every respect.
Planned by the golf course architect Dipl.-Ing. Holger Rengstorf, the course was built by one of the most renowned golf course construction companies in Europe, the Jürgen Mokinski company from Rheda-Wiedenbrück. An 18-hole championship course of international standard was built. The entire golf course is surrounded by forest edges, interspersed with hedges, copses and a stream.
In addition to the numerous bunkers and water hazards, the entire golf course is made more difficult by alternating wet zones. The elegantly slightly curved terrain means that new positions are constantly expected. Multi-level greens want to prevent the supposed two-putt.
Three large ponds, which also serve for irrigation, give the course an additional charming and scenic character. A fully automatic, computer-controlled irrigation system ensures water distribution as needed.
