Golf is more than just a sporting pastime - golf is the only sport that can promote and support biodiversity with its sports facilities. At the Ruhpolding golf course, we have large areas of our own that are not required for the practice of golf, which make it possible to develop existing biodiversity-relevant potential as comprehensively as possible. These areas are bursting with flora and fauna. We are one of the golf courses in Bavaria with the most extensive compensation areas.

Many bodies of water and wooded areas were first created by the golf course and have only since become home to rare animals and plants.

We are proud to make a significant contribution to the fact that the entire Ruhpolding valley basin is one of the last treasure troves of flowers, meadows and pastures in Bavaria. In addition to our excellent small farms, we also always strive to promote biodiversity and want to enable the preservation of biodiversity.
