The Livorno Golf Club is located in Tuscany in an area of 10 hectares within the city and only 50 metres from the sea. The design and supervision of the entire project were entrusted to architects Umberto and Tommaso Franceschi, who used parameters of excellence for the construction of the golf course, thanks also to the collaboration of the University of Pisa and the consultancy of Dr. Paolo Croce, adopting for the first time in Italy the philosophy of a 100% organic golf course, built entirely in macroterma grass, including the greens, thus achieving a water saving of 40% compared to traditional golf courses. The modelling of the golf course was carried out by the expert shaper Franco Oroni, who has completed more than 30 golf courses. The course consists of 9 holes par 28 for a length of 1375 metres with a standard angle.
