The Greifswald Golf Park is being built on a large area - in the municipality of Wackerow on the city limits to the university and Hanseatic city of Greifswald.

The well-known golf course architect Christoph Städler and his company Städler Golf Courses from Münster planned this course. A spacious golf course was planned in 2004. An 18-hole championship course, a 9-hole course (Storchenplatz) and a large driving range with a pitch-and-chip facility with 3 PAR-3 practice tracks were to be built on this site.

The first construction phases are currently completed.

The Storchenplatz, the driving range and the pitch-and-chip facility with the 3 practice tracks were built by Jürgen Mokinski and his company Golf-Sportstättenbau - International Golf Courses Construction from Rheda-Wiedenbrück and with the help of our greenkeeper team . Many hard-working volunteers have contributed to the success.
