The Shipley Golf Club

Beckfoot Lane , Bingley BD16 1LX

The Shipley Golf Club is one of the prime courses in the Aire Valley, a magnate for golfers. With the world heritage site of Saltaire just a few miles away and six other courses within a five mile radius the area is renowned for the variety of golf and night life not to mention the famous curries in nearby Shipley and Bingley.

The club opened in 1921 at its present site and was formerly known as The Shipley and Saltaire Golf Club formed in 1896 at nearby Saltaire. It is a Dr Alister Mackenzie course and used regularly for Bradford Union fixtures. It is also known locally as “Shipley Beckfoot” to distinguish us from nearby clubs in Bingley and Shipley.
