Wrekin Golf Club was designed in the early part of the last century and was built on farmland that was as at the time owned by Lord Forrester. Subsequently the land was purchased from him and when the course was developed there were five par 5's, six par 3's and seven par 4's, with a par of 71. There were very few changes from the early days until the 1970's, when the loss of a small area of land called for some re-design. The majority of holes remained unchanged and the course as it is today retains 6 par 3's but has no par fives. A challenging but fair test for golfers of all abilities with numerous memorable holes. We are delighted to have a newly refurbished clubhouse along with a new lodge offering refreshments on the 11th.
Restrictions: No play 8:30am and 11:00pm on Tuesdays . Must telephone club to arrange a booking maximum 14 days in advance. All tee times are subject to availability.
