Golf du Bois de Ruminghem (Golfamore Card Offer)

1625 Rue Saint-Antoine, Ruminghem 62370

The natural and flat Bois de Ruminghem course was built by English golf architect Bill Baker between Perlecques Forest and Ruminghem Forest. Eperlecque Forest is best known for the V2 bunker built during WWII, which was bombed by Allied forces.

Variant of land between plain and forest. A very technical course offers a challenge for both very good players and beginners. The Bois de Ruminghem Golf is made up of two totally different parts. The course from 1 to 10 offers you spectacular views of the coast between Calais and Dunkirk on a simple route. The course from 11 to 18 is woody and offers to play in the environment of a multitude of old trees. Your bad shots are punished by the trees, while the walkways juxtaposing the trail are narrower.

This requires a different approach to fairways on the plain and the fairways in the woods. The American style wavy greens are difficult to read, and the English style of Ruminghem bunkers makes them difficult. If you can play your handicap on this course then you can play your handicap anywhere else.
