Castle Hume Golf Course is situated on the edges of Castle Hume Lough and Lower Lough Erne. It is only a few minutes drive from Enniskillen on the A46 Belleek/Donegal road. This lakeland championship course is one of the main local attractions and one of the most testing golf courses in Ireland. The course is famed for its large curvaceous greens, its rolling fairways and its challenging water hazards. It boasts some seven thousand trees and over thirty bunkers. Manicured to the highest standards, it is a model of golfing elegance.
Autumn 2007 saw the opening of a very grand international hotel next door, principally to accommodate the huge number of golfers from all over the world who are likely to flock to Ireland's answer to Loch Lomond Golf Club, the spectacular sounding"Faldo at Lough Erne" golf course. Nick and his design team have been working on the 7200 yard championship course for many months now and it will occupy a stunning site between the shores of Lough Erne and Castle Hume Lough. It is set to firmly establish the reputation of the area as a great golfing destination.
