Greenburn Golf Club moved to its present location, to the south of Fauldhouse in the Braich Valley, from Falia Hill in 1953.
The club was built by the members and the clubs motto - "Per Nostra Opera" (By our own endeavours) - epitomises this spirit.
The course is a mixture of parkland and moorland and the original stream which meandered through it, has recently been re-opened to help improve drainage.
Unsurprisingly, this development has added a new dimension to the course and the water comes into play on as many as 7 of the holes. The layout is tight, requiring both accuracy from the tee and to the green.
The Caledonia railway dissects the course and provides an unwelcome out of bounds on the demanding 5th hole, a par 4 of 431 yards in length.Greenburn Golf Club moved to its present location, to the south of Fauldhouse in the Braich Valley, from Falia Hill in 1953.
