Kilkenny Golf Club

Glendine

Kilkenny Golf Club was founded on the 2nd April 1896 at Daly's Hill which is situated to the north west of the city.

The course itself is of championship standard and is set in 120 acres of parkland, measuring 5,908 metres with a par of 71. It is a popular venue for regional play-offs and finals and has hosted the All Ireland Cups and Shields Finals.

The course is mostly flat terrain with an abundance of trees. Notable features are the difficult par threes, the long par four 11th, and the final four holes which have ruined many a fine card.

The course has undergone significant enhancement over the years and now boasting sand based greens, it is playable all year round.

Restrictions: Offers valid Mon to Fri. Please telephone in advance for availability Sat and Sun. Prior booking essential.
