Founded in 1954, Lee Park Golf Club was designed by C K Cotton. The well manicured course offers a testing challenge for all level of golfers. Whilst it is an easy-walking tree-lined parkland course, the six dog-legs provide a challenge for straight accurate driving. Being in position to attack the well-protected raised greens is of paramount importance in order to achieve par. At 5959 yards, the course offers five testing par 3’s, the longest the 5th hole at 205 yards a severe test. This is then followed by a par 5 at 554 yards, the longest on Merseyside.

The course was rated with a Silver Award by an independent assessor in 2005, under the country-wide course review scheme run by HSBC. The recently redeveloped Clubhouse is one of the most impressive in the area. The large Spike Bar, overlooking the practice putting green, provides the perfect place to relax at the end of a round. Lee Park is the only club on Merseyside to have been awarded EGU GolfMark, ClubMark and Environment Award
