Golf Architects Craddock and Ruddy constructed 9 new holes and re-arranged 2 of the existing holes as part of the development of the 18 hole course which was designed to the highest standard and officially opened in 1994. It is situated on the cliffs overlooking Wicklow Bay and set against the backdrop of the Wicklow mountains. The architects made full use of the natural contours and features of the terrain with each hole having its own distinguishing feature. The drive on the 380 metres par 4 6th hole locally referred to as the 'nose hole' is all carry over the craggy cliff-face and inviting sea below. The four par 3's are all world class. The 17th is 150 metres demanding a shot from an elevated tee over two lakes to a basin green surrounded by a high bank and inviting bunker to the right. The 7th on the other hand is 130 metres all uphill to a two-tier elevated green surrounded by a bank and furze bushes (which are a feature of the course) and strategically positioned bunkers.
Restrictions: Maximum of 8 golfers per booking. Please contact club in advance to make a booking, all tee times are subject to availability.
