Fontanals Golf is one of the two golf courses located in La Cerdanya, a wide strip of land running east to west protected on the north by the Pyrenees and on the south by the Natural Park of Cadi-Moixeró. The field does not have very hilly, so enjoys a privileged panoramic, which reaches the mountains that protect the region. It has eighteen holes, par 17 and a total length of 6454 meters. Opened in 1994, was designed by Ramon Espinosa. Eight lakes cross the field and set a schedule that allows players, both amateur and professional, showcase their skills. The field also has three practice holes. The prestigious Peugeot Golf Guide included it in the year 1996 among the best in Europe.
