In the heart of the splendid Terre Matildiche (Matildic Lands), just outside the city, Golf Matilde di Canossa has been standing since 1987 in the spectacular setting of splendid landscapes, surrounded by lands rich in history and important traditions. In this evocative context, restored to its ancient splendour, the Club was created thanks to the brilliant combination of love for nature, passion for golf and the spirit of initiative of the promoting members. The course, designed by the architect Marco Croze, with 18 holes in a course of over 6,200, par 72, is characterised by an extreme variety of configurations, especially thanks to the Quaresimo stream that runs through its entire length. The gentle natural declines and vegetation make the game technical and compelling as well as extremely enjoyable. The course offers long and enchanting panoramic views, providing an exhilarating feeling of freedom, in full contact with nature.
