Come and explore the beautiful course at Ballater Golf Club in Aberdeenshire, Scotland

Picture a corner of Scotland with a delightful warmth of welcome, together with breathtaking scenery and an interesting and challenging golf course and you've discovered Ballater - 'The Pride of Royal Deeside'.

This slightly undulating medium length golf course is west of Aberdeen situated in one of the most beautiful parts of upper Deeside. It was founded in 1892 as a nine hole test on land owned by the Laird of Invercauld. When farmland became available in 1905 the course was expanded to 18 holes, providing an exacting challenge in idyllic surroundings.
The town and its golf course lie within a circle of hills, providing glorious views and the river Dee runs alongside several of the holes, as it meanders its way down to Aberdeen.
