What a great golfing experience with Charlesland Golf Club set in the shadow of the famous Wicklow mountains in Ireland.
Set in the shadow of the famous Wicklow Mountains, Charlesland Golf and Country Club was designed by Ireland's most celebrated and prolific course designer Eddie Hackett, the designer of the legendary links courses at Waterville and Connemara. It has always been known as a challenging but fair test of golf in a beautiful setting. The course, at just less than 7000 yards from the championship tees, skirts the Irish Sea for the best part of the front nine with the home run being true parkland.
A superb award winning, modern golf hotel further complements the course with twelve well appointed, spacious ensuite rooms. The locally renowned restaurant and equally relaxing bar facilities have been designed by an internationally acclaimed architect and combine to offer fabulous cuisine in an informal, warm Mediterranean style atmosphere. The club is located on the edge of Greystones, a bustling and vibrant seaside village with its own picturesque harbour. It is only 45 minutes south of Dublin, two and a half miles from the N11. The village is also well served by modern public transport including the DART commuter rail system.
Fully stocked Golf Shop with buggy, trolley & golf clubs available for hire. Excellent practice facilities, with driving range, chipping & putting greens. Superb catering facilities, offering delicious food, serving breakfast, lunch & dinner and with a fully licenced Bar.
