Douglas Golf Club was founded in 1909, with the original course being designed by golfing legend and six time British Open winner, Harry Vardon.
Douglas Golf Club was founded in 1909 and is located on the outskirts of Cork city adjacent to all amenities. It is a traditional type Members Club set in lush parkland with magnificent views over Cork City. It offers a mature 18 Hole Par 72 course over 6076 metres, maintained to the highest standard.
A major redevelopment programme in 1997 and again in 2005 saw greens and tees installed to full USGA specification making it a good challenge for the keen golfer and a most pleasant experience for the less competitive. Additional facilities include a substantial practice ground, chipping green, putting green, club professional, club hire and full dining in the clubs restaurant.
