Play Golf at Radyr Golf Club in Cardiff, Wales. They've updated their listing with Open Fairways
29 November 2017
We wanted to feature this delightful course in Cardiff, Wales to remind our members to get out and play some golf, no matter what the season! Remember the more you play the more you save....
With its magnificent views overlooking the city of Cardiff and the Bristol Channel beyond, Radyr has one of the most idyllic settings of any golf club in South Wales. Founded in 1902, Radyr hosted the first-ever Welsh Professional Championship in 1904 and in the same week an exhibition match involving three of the world's greatest golfers - Harry Vardon, James Braid and J.H. Taylor.
Nestling in rural parkland, the par 70 course has changed little since it was finalised in 1915 by Colt and its gentle undulations provide a course which is a delight to the eye. Its greatest feature is the fact that every hole provides a separate and very different challenge with wayward shots invariably punished. Its renowned greens are a pleasure to putt on and are praised by every visitor to this friendly and welcoming club.
